Though used in all AMP plugs, these wire terminals are mainly associated with the chassis connections on 82/70's. Always unplug the main power first before disconnecting any AMP plugs. Check pins and sockets for corrosion, burns, and proper seating every time you handle a plug. If a socket is suspect, insert a loose pin to test. Sockets may look OK, but be too loose tomake a good connection. Use Extractor Tool 030004031 to remove terminals from plug blocks.
